Privacy Policy
Kneadio is designed to help users plan and fine-tune pizza dough recipes. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app, why it is processed, and what choices you have.
1. Information processed by Kneadio
Feedback and support
If you choose to send feedback or contact the developer from within the app, Kneadio may transmit:
- the feedback message or other content you submit;
- an email address, if you voluntarily provide one so that we can reply;
- technical information such as app version/build and language;
- a pseudonymous installation identifier;
- optional diagnostic or configuration information that you choose to attach.
This information is used only to respond to you, investigate issues, improve Kneadio, and protect the feedback service from abuse.
Purchase verification
If you purchase or restore a paid Kneadio entitlement through Google Play, the app may send purchase-related information such as the Google Play purchase token, product identifier, app version/build and a pseudonymous installation identifier to Kneadio's backend. This is used to verify the purchase, determine the correct entitlement, and help prevent fraud.
Kneadio does not receive or store your payment card or banking details. Payments are processed by Google Play.
Location
Some optional app features may request device location, for example to assist with location-based water information. When location is used for such a feature, precise coordinates are processed for that feature and are not intentionally stored by Kneadio's backend.
Photos and OCR
If you use image-based text recognition, images are processed on the device for OCR. Kneadio does not intentionally upload your photos to its backend for this purpose.
2. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads
Kneadio uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may automatically collect and process information such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, app interactions, diagnostic data, advertising identifiers, device identifiers and related technical information.
Google may use this information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and related purposes according to Google's own policies and consent requirements.

3. Google ML Kit and technical diagnostics
Kneadio uses Google ML Kit for on-device text recognition. Google may process limited technical information and diagnostics associated with the SDK, such as installation identifiers, performance metrics and usage events, according to Google's documentation and privacy practices.
4. Purposes
- providing app functionality;
- verifying purchases and entitlements;
- preventing fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- responding to feedback and support requests;
- diagnostics and app improvement;
- advertising and analytics through Google Mobile Ads, where applicable and subject to required consent.
5. Data sharing
Kneadio does not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the app and its backend, and by Google services such as AdMob, Google Play Billing and ML Kit as described above. Service providers are used only for the purposes needed to operate the relevant features.
6. Data retention
Kneadio keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide requested support, to protect the service from abuse, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes.
Purchase verification data may be processed for the time necessary to validate an entitlement. Retention by Google services is governed by Google's own policies.
7. Data deletion requests
You may request deletion of personal information that you voluntarily sent to Kneadio, such as feedback content or a contact email address.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant feedback or support request. Data controlled by third-party services such as Google may also be subject to those providers' own deletion and retention mechanisms.
8. Security
Kneadio uses encrypted network connections (HTTPS/TLS) for backend communications. The app is designed to minimize the amount of personal information transmitted outside the device. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's privacy
Kneadio is not designed or marketed for children. The intended audience is adults.
10. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app, its features, or applicable legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
